Honestly, for the price, this far exceeds my expectations. This was the second case I purchased for my iPad Air 5 case– the options from the Apple store didn’t cut it. The style and color is perfect… minimalist design indeed. It doesn’t add bulk to the iPad, which was important to me since the new iPads are so slim and lightweight. It also feels nice when I’m holding the iPad and sturdy, doesn’t feel like it will fall off or slip out of my hands. The leather has also worn in nicely, giving it a nice rugged and stylish look the more I use it–which is great, gets lots of compliments. The case also cleans up nice, I’ve had a few spills or sat the device onto something wet by mistake– it wipes up easily. Using it as a stand works perfectly, it has two grooves so you can set the iPad at different angles. And as mentioned, it gets a lot of random compliments– especially when I carry it around closed up I get a “what’s that cool looking thing” remarks. Great product.

This case is perfect for me
– precise fit for iPad Air 5”
– protective yet thin and unobtrusive
– allows for Apple Pencil dock + charge
– folds back flat for note-taking or drawing
– vertical stand angles work fine on a desk
– texture of cover is soft and grippy
– color is bold and true; not washed out
– woksmanship seems quite good
– passed the dangle test better than magnetic-back cases I’ve seen

I received my case, but I think do to shipping it wasn’t what it was supposed to be. I shipped it back and the company reached out and asked what was wrong. I explained and a new case is being shipped for me to try. But that’s not the kicker. The kicker is that the company reached out Personally to me. Nate. Great guy, several emails wanted to make sure that I had the best experience with my iPad Air5 case. When I received my first case, she was a beauty. I loved her. Took her everywhere. But for some reason the cover would not stay closed. That was my only issue. But the case itself was casual but business. I loved it. I am so excited to get my new one soon. Coming in red. So when I go to the VA and step into the building eyes are turned looking at my case. The red case simply screams. Look at me. I’m beautiful aren’t I? I didn’t feel that the iPad would be damaged with the Case. Except if the flapped opened during a drop. Hopefully that will be proven to be the issue. Which I’m more than confident was it.
The case is great but the company behind the case is what makes the product wonderful.
